Last updated: 18 July 2026
General provisions
These Terms of Service ("Terms") define the rights and obligations related to registering for and using 300.mn (the "Platform"). By registering, the user is deemed to have fully accepted these Terms.
Scope of services
300.mn connects car owners, buyers, renters, drivers and service providers, and provides the following services:
- Vehicle auctions (timed and sealed-bid), fixed-price sales, and open-to-offers listings
- Vehicle rentals between users, including deposits and optional insurance tiers
- Booking of vehicle services from verified providers, including collection and return of the vehicle
- A marketplace for vehicle parts
- Listing and booking of parking spaces
- Shared commuting: drivers offering seats on a route, and riders booking them
- Payment intermediary services, including holding buyer funds until handover (escrow)
- Routing of financing applications to licensed lenders, and instalment payment plans for platform services
- Publication of vehicle information, including import records, service history and condition reports
User rights and obligations
- Users must register using accurate and truthful personal information.
- User identity is verified through the Mongolian state information exchange system (XYP). Completing this verification is a prerequisite for transacting on the Platform.
- Users are responsible for thoroughly reviewing and verifying all information about a vehicle before committing to a transaction.
- Users have the right to request verification of the accuracy of any vehicle information.
- Bids placed in an auction are legally binding and cannot be withdrawn.
- Users renting a vehicle must hold a valid driving licence and return the vehicle in the agreed condition.
- Users offering or booking shared rides do so as private individuals sharing costs, not as commercial passenger carriers.
Seller and provider obligations
- Sellers must provide accurate information reflecting the actual condition of the vehicle.
- Sellers are obliged to transfer ownership rights and to deliver the vehicle to the buyer.
- A vehicle number plate is registered to its owner, not to the vehicle. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, the seller retains their plate and the buyer is responsible for registering their own before driving the vehicle.
- Service providers, parts sellers and parking hosts are responsible for the quality, legality and safe delivery of what they offer.
- Drivers offering seats are responsible for holding valid insurance and a valid licence.
Payments, escrow and fees
- A refundable deposit may be required to participate in an auction. Failing to complete a won purchase within the stated window may result in forfeiture of that deposit.
- For vehicle purchases, the buyer pays a deposit, signs the sale contract, and pays the balance. Funds are held by the Platform and released to the seller after the transaction completes.
- The Platform charges a commission on completed transactions, deducted from the seller's settlement. The applicable rate is shown before the transaction is confirmed.
- Rentals may require a security deposit, which is settled after the return inspection.
- Instalment plans and financing applications are subject to separate terms provided at the point of application.
- Customs duties, transport costs, registration fees and taxes relating to a vehicle are the responsibility of the relevant user, not the Platform or the counterparty, unless expressly agreed.
Warranties and limitation of liability
- The Platform enforces the pre-transaction conditions of any seller it has verified.
- Condition reports and verification services describe the vehicle at the time of inspection only, and are not a warranty of future condition.
- The Platform assumes no liability for the acts of third parties, nor for the quality or condition of vehicles, parts, services, parking spaces or journeys arranged between users.
- Shared rides are arranged between private individuals. The Platform is not a transport operator and does not carry passengers.
User information and privacy
- The Platform protects users' personal information in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of Mongolia.
- User information is not disclosed to third parties without authorisation, except where required by law or necessary to complete a transaction the user has entered into.
- See the Privacy Policy for what is collected and how it is used.
Service modifications and termination
- The Platform reserves the right to modify or update these Terms.
- If a user violates these Terms, the Platform reserves the right to suspend or close the user's account.
Legal jurisdiction
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Mongolia.
- Disputes are resolved through mutual agreement in the first instance, including the Platform's dispute process. If agreement cannot be reached, the matter is resolved through the courts of Mongolia.
